Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on pharmaceutical machinery (e.g., granulators, tablet compression, coating, capsule filling, and blistering machines).
- Assembly & Fitting: Assemble, align, and calibrate mechanical parts like valves, pipelines, mixers, and pumps based on technical blueprints.
- Utility Maintenance: Troubleshoot and service critical plant utilities such as HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), compressors, and water systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain all machinery in a way that aligns with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), avoiding cross-contamination and adhering to strict plant safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Record accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts replacement, and machine performance tests
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Fitter or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with mechanical systems, preferably within a pharmaceutical or food processing manufacturing environment.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG), machine assembly, reading schematics, and mechanical fault-finding.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, good manual dexterity, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to coordinate quickly with production crews.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
