Key Responsibilities
Plant & Machinery Maintenance
- Perform preventive, predictive, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance for all plant and machinery assets.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime by minimizing breakdowns and responding within defined turnaround times.
- Monitor machine health and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and lifecycle.
Equipment Inspection & Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections, condition assessments, statutory checks, and third-party certification activities.
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain complete maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment service history.
Asset & Spare Management
- Maintain accurate equipment registers, maintenance logs, and asset tracking records.
- Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate timely procurement of critical maintenance materials.
- Support inventory reconciliation and asset audits with the Central Stores team.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, service providers, project teams, and procurement to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
- Provide technical recommendations for spare planning, equipment replacement, and maintenance improvements.
Team Support
- Support the deployment and utilization of operators, technicians, electricians, and mechanics across project sites.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and technical training initiatives.
- Verify operator competency, licenses, and certifications where applicable.
Continuous Improvement
- Track equipment utilization, maintenance costs, and operational performance.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment availability, maintenance efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Contribute to operational excellence through effective maintenance planning and asset governance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/ Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in plant and machinery maintenance within construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
- Hands-on experience with tower cranes, passenger hoists, material hoists, rollers, bobcats, rope suspension platforms (RSP), bar cutting & bending machines, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, equipment diagnostics, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with maintenance documentation, spare parts planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
