Role Summary:
Own the end-to-end tendering cycle for drone services contracts—from opportunity identification and bid strategy through submission and negotiation—across government, defense, infrastructure, and enterprise verticals. You will be the primary interface between technical, commercial, and regulatory teams to produce winning, compliant proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Pipeline: Monitor government portals (GeM, CPPP, defense procurement), private RFPs, and international tenders. Qualify opportunities using go/no-go frameworks aligned with business strategy.
- Bid Management: Lead end-to-end bid preparation, including technical write-ups, BOQs, solution architecture narratives, compliance matrices, and financial pricing models. Ensure zero non-compliance on all submissions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, operations, legal, finance, and DGCA/regulatory teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and obtain approvals within tender deadlines.
- Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure proposals adhere to DGCA drone regulations, NPNT requirements, defense offset policies, MSME/startup certification clauses, and client-specific technical standards.
- Pricing Strategy: Build cost models for drone-as-a-service, fleet deployment, survey services, and platform licensing. Conduct competitive benchmarking and margin analysis with CFO/finance sign-off.
- Post-Bid Management: Lead client presentations, clarification responses, negotiations, and contract finalization. Conduct win/loss reviews to improve the bid library.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain a centralized bid library of standard content, past proposals, capability statements, and certifications to accelerate future submissions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. Certification in bid/proposal management (APMP/Shipley) is a strong plus.
- Experience: 5–8 years in tender/bid management, with at least 2 years in aerospace, defense, geospatial, or technology sectors. Proven track record of winning high-value government tenders.
