Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Sales

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories.
· Appoint and manage distributors, stockists, super stockists, and channel partners.
· Expand the company's presence in hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, institutions, and doctors.
· Develop strategies to increase product penetration and market share.
· Conduct market research to analyse competitors, customer needs, and industry trends.
Sales Management
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
· Develop and execute territory sales plans.
· Increase product sales through effective customer engagement and channel development.
· Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
· Coordinate promotional activities to improve product visibility and demand generation.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, hospitals, institutional buyers, and retail pharmacy chains.
- Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners.
- Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining high service standards.
- Ensure timely order processing and payment collection.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
· New distributor and institutional account acquisition.
· Market share growth in assigned territories.
· Product-wise sales performance.
· Customer retention and satisfaction.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
· Timely payment collection and outstanding control.
· Territory coverage and business expansion.
· Forecast accuracy and sales reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate / B.SC / B. Pharma.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Experience in B2B sales is preferred.
Required Skills
· Strong pharmaceutical sales and business development knowledge.
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
· Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution channels and market dynamics.
· Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
