Job Summary:
A Fiber Optic Technician installs, tests, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots fiber optic cables and communication systems. The technician ensures reliable network connectivity and follows safety and quality standards during all installation and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate fiber optic cables and related equipment.
- Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Use equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and fusion splicers.
- Repair damaged fiber optic cables and restore network services.
- Read and interpret network diagrams and cable layouts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain accurate installation, testing, and maintenance records.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and industry standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and customers when required.
- Skills:
- Fiber splicing and cable termination
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
- Knowledge of OTDR and fiber testing equipment

- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments

Pay: ₹9,000.31 - ₹28,648.28 per month
