Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, support operations, security, and technology services. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT operations while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
The role requires strong leadership, vendor-management, project-management, and technical skills, along with the ability to work closely with business and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT services.
- Establish and maintain IT operational processes, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor IT incidents, service requests, problems, and escalations.
- Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
2. IT Service Management
- Establish and manage IT service management processes based on ITIL best practices.
- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Drive continual service improvement and automation.
- Manage major incidents and critical IT escalations.
- Ensure effective IT asset and software-license management.
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Manage endpoint security, access management, patching, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and applicable standards.
- Support internal and external IT audits.
- Implement appropriate data protection and access-control practices.
4. IT Applications & Digital Platforms
- Manage enterprise applications and technology platforms.
- Coordinate application support, upgrades, integrations, and maintenance.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify technology requirements and improvement opportunities.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.
5. Project & Vendor Management
- Manage IT projects from planning through implementation and transition to operations.
- Prepare project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage external IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, renewals, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual commitments are met.
6. Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare and manage the IT annual budget.
- Track IT operational and project expenditure.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and technology rationalization.
- Manage software licenses, subscriptions, hardware procurement, and vendor costs.
7. Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's IT roadmap.
- Recommend technology investments based on business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage cloud, automation, AI, and modern technology platforms.
- Present IT performance, risks, budgets, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, applications, and enterprise IT operations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL / IT Service Management.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS, Active Directory/Entra ID, endpoint management, and enterprise security.
- Strong project and vendor-management skills.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business continuity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
