Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Raw Material Shift Incharge to oversee our aluminium scrap management and sorting operations. You will manage shift inventory, ensure accurate scrap identification, and lead sorting teams to maintain a seamless supply of raw materials for production.
Key Responsibilities
* Scrap Identification: Identify and categorize various types of aluminium scrap accurately.
* Sorting Operations: Oversee manual and mechanical sorting techniques to minimize contamination.
* Shift Management: Lead and monitor the scrap yard workforce during assigned shifts.
* Inventory Control: Track daily raw material movement, stock levels, and processing data.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the sorted raw material meets specific furnace charging standards.
* Safety Compliance: Enforce strict workplace safety protocols across the scrap yard.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: 3 to 5 years of core experience in an aluminium recycling plant.
* Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of different aluminium scrap grades and sorting methods.
* Skills: Strong inventory management, leadership, and operational problem-solving skills.
* Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is preferred.
