Job Overview
We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Operations Manager from a retired Army or Navy background to oversee end-to-end operations and logistics for our Alcobev business. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process control, logistics expertise, and compliance-driven execution to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities across supply chain, warehousing, dispatch, and vendor coordination
- Manage logistics planning, inventory movement, and timely deliveries
- Ensure compliance with excise regulations, statutory norms, and internal SOPs
- Coordinate with transporters, distributors, and internal teams for seamless execution
- Implement operational discipline, reporting structures, and efficiency improvements
- Monitor stock levels, reduce pilferage, losses, and operational risks
- Handle crisis management, contingency planning, and operational problem-solving
- Maintain documentation, MIS reports, and operational dashboards
- Supervise and train support staff, ensuring discipline and accountability
Candidate Profile
- Retired Army or Navy personnel (JCO / Senior NCO / Officer level preferred)
- Extensive hands-on experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or administration
- Strong understanding of process control, compliance, and inventory management
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operations
- High integrity, leadership skills, and operational discipline
- Prior experience in Alcobev/ FMCG (Beverages) / logistics-heavy environments is a plus
