Our products illuminate everything from commercial spaces to architectural landmarks, combining functionality with refined design.
We are seeking a Lighting Project Engineer to assist in designing, planning, and executing lighting projects across Asia/India. You will work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to deliver efficient, high-quality lighting solutions that meet performance standards and client expectations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, technical challenges, and contributing to cutting-edge projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design & Planning:
- Develop detailed lighting designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Prepare and revise Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on project requirements and feedback.
- Handle project design preparations, including tender documents.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely design deliverables.
Technical Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to LED drivers, control systems
(DALI, DMX), wiring configurations, and other electrical components.
- Provide pre-programming support for controllers and drivers used in projects.
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure compliance
with performance standards and specifications.
Project Coordination:
- Support the Product and Sales teams with Lighting Control System Design and BOQ preparation.
- Attend technical meetings with the sales team and coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and project managers for proper project execution.
- Conduct on-site technical meetings, supervision, and testing as required.
- Oversee assembly processes and special product testing to ensure quality and functionality.
- Train installation/project teams, distributors, and engineers from distributors on the proposed systems, as needed.
- Lead project commissioning activities to ensure successful handover.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, progress reports, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for reference during project phases.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases, from planning to installation and commissioning.
- Foster collaboration across departments to align project goals and deliverables.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the Lighting or Electrical industry is essential.
