Job Summary
The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the dispatch of bakery products to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The role involves managing dispatch staff, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with production and transport teams, and ensuring product quality during dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely loading and delivery of bakery products to stores, distributors, and customers.
- Verify dispatch quantities against invoices, delivery challans, and orders.
- Coordinate with the production team for product availability.
- Maintain dispatch records, stock movement records, and vehicle logs.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities to prevent product damage.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed.
- Manage dispatch staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
