Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, receive, process, and label clinical specimens as per laboratory protocols.
- Perform microbiological tests including culture, staining, identification, and sensitivity testing.
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and laboratory solutions.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and timely.
- Follow infection control, biosafety, and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples and laboratory waste.
- Maintain laboratory records, registers, and documentation as per NABL/NABH standards.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory consumables and reagents.
- Assist microbiologists in diagnostic and research-related activities.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. Microbiology / Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent.
- DMLT/BMLT candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
- 1–5 years of experience in a hospital microbiology laboratory.
- Knowledge of culture techniques, staining methods, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality standards and infection control practices.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of NABH/NABL guidelines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency samples.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
