Job Summary
Foodale India Private Limited is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing transactions efficiently and provide excellent guest service. The Cashier will be responsible for handling cash, card, and digital payments, maintaining billing accuracy, and ensuring proper cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate customer bills accurately through the POS system.
- Receive payments through cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other digital payment methods.
- Ensure proper billing and settlement of guest checks.
- Verify discounts, promotional offers, and complimentary approvals as per company policies.
- Maintain an accurate record of all transactions during the shift.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to the Accounts Department.
- Handle guest billing inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.
- Coordinate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth billing processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions and company information.
- Ensure compliance with company cash handling procedures and internal controls.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious transactions immediately to management.
- Support month-end and audit requirements as directed by the Accounts Department.
Required Qualifications
- PUC / Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant, pub, hotel, retail, or hospitality establishment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash management.
- Experience using POS systems and billing software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.

- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada.

- Ability to work under pressure during peak business hours.

- 100% billing accuracy.
- Zero cash shortages or unauthorized variances.
- Timely shift closing and cash reconciliation.

- Positive guest feedback regarding billing experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
