About the Role
As a Power Platform Solution Developer, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation across NNE by delivering innovative business solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, project delivery, and business functions to understand challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and transform manual processes into efficient, scalable digital solutions. Using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, you will design, develop, and maintain applications, workflows, and integrations that support business-critical operations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, platform administrators, and subject-matter experts to define requirements, ensure solution quality, and promote best practices in low-code development.
The role is part of NNE Global IT and supports our continued journey towards modern, governed, and scalable application development, automation, and citizen development using the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and enterprise integration technologies.

How You Might Spend Your Days
As a System Consultant, you'll:
- Partner with stakeholders across Global IT, engineering disciplines, and project delivery teams to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable Power Platform solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions that improve business processes, increase efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives across NNE.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and innovation using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Build end-to-end solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Azure services, and other enterprise platforms to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Develop and maintain robust automation solutions using Power Automate, including approval workflows, notifications, integrations, data synchronization, and process orchestration.
- Configure and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and application lifecycle management practices to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with architects, platform administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with governance standards, security requirements, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Support Power Platform governance by documenting solution designs, technical specifications, security models, data structures, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to NNE's low-code strategy by promoting best practices, reusable components, standardised development approaches, and citizen developer enablement where appropriate.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform functionality, integrations, performance, and user adoption while continuously improving delivered solutions.
- Balance solution support and maintenance with ongoing enhancement initiatives, automation opportunities, and the delivery of new business capabilities.
- Act as a trusted Power Platform advisor by challenging requirements constructively, recommending optimal technical approaches, and mentoring colleagues on Power
- Platform development, governance, and best practices.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience delivering business-critical applications and automations using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integration with Microsoft 365 services.
- Proven ability to analyse business processes and transform requirements into user-friendly, scalable solutions.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform governance, security, environment management, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with SharePoint, Teams, Azure services, APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Power Pages, DevOps, or source control is considered a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience facilitating workshops and driving user adoption.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as pharma, engineering, manufacturing, or project-driven organisations is considered a plus.
