About the Role
We are looking for an AEM Operations Engineer to join our Adobe Practice. You will be the go-to person for keeping AEM environments healthy, stable, and running smoothly for one of our key enterprise clients. This is a hands-on platform ops role with direct client interaction, so you need to be as comfortable on a call with stakeholders as you are in the AEM console.
What You'll Do

Own day-to-day operations of AEM environments (Author, Publish, Dispatcher) on Adobe Cloud

Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and drive resolution with minimal downtime

Manage deployments, releases, and environment promotions across Dev, QA, Stage, and Production

Handle replication agents, workflow queues, OSGi configurations, and package management
-
Work closely with the client to understand operational needs and provide timely updates
-
Coordinate with content, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues

Set up and maintain AEM Dispatcher rules and caching configurations
-
Support AEM Assets / DAM operations — uploads, renditions, metadata management

Manage user access, permissions, and groups within AEM
-
Create and maintain runbooks, incident logs, and operational documentation
-
Proactively identify risks in the environment before they become problems
What We're Looking For
-
5–6 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager
-
Strong understanding of AEM architecture — Author/Publish/Dispatcher setup
-
Experience working on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or Adobe Managed Services (AMS)

Solid understanding of AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and DAM workflows
-
Good grasp of OSGi framework, Sling, and JCR concepts
-
Experience with deployment pipelines and release management in AEM

Comfortable managing Dispatcher configurations and cache invalidation

Strong communication skills — this role involves direct client interaction

Ability to write clear incident reports, RCAs, and operational docs

Knowledge of Adobe Guides / DITA is highly desirable
Good to Have

Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Basic knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or New Relic

Familiarity with CDN tools like Fastly or Akamai
