Job Summary
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE As an SAP Basis(6+ Yrs) with SAP BTP Admin(4+ Yrs), you will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing SAP landscapes while leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to drive digital transformation. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless, secure, and high-performing SAP systems, enabling HCLTech to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions to its clients. Your expertise will directly contribute to the company’s objectives of operational excellence and technological leadership. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and other SAP modules. - Manage SAP Basis administration tasks such as system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and upgrades. - Integrate and operate SAP applications on SAP BTP, including deploying and managing cloud-based services and extensions. - Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies for SAP environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful SAP migrations, upgrades, and patch management. - Develop and maintain automation scripts for system administration and routine tasks. - Maintain compliance with company and client security policies, ensuring robust SAP security and user management. - Provide technical support, issue resolution, and best practices guidance to internal and client stakeholders. - Document technical processes, system configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and audit readiness. - Administer SAP BTP Global Accounts, Directories, Subaccounts, Entitlements, and Quotas across multiple landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD). - Manage SAP BTP environments including Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime, and ABAP Environment. - Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connector for secure connectivity between on-premise SAP systems and SAP BTP services. - Administer BTP Destinations, Connectivity Services, Authorization & Trust Management, and Secure Store services. - Manage Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) integrations for Single Sign-On (SSO) and user lifecycle management. - Monitor and administer SAP Integration Suite components including Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, and Event Mesh. - Configure and support SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, and SAP Build Work Zone services. - Implement BTP security best practices including role collections, authorization assignments, trust configurations, certificate management, and audit compliance. - Monitor cloud applications, service health, resource consumption, logs, alerts, and performance using SAP BTP Cockpit and monitoring tools. - Support deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of SAP BTP applications using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. - Collaborate with development teams for extension development on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model). - Manage BTP transport management, content deployment, and landscape synchronization across environments. - Perform tenant administration, subscription management, service provisioning, and consumption monitoring. - Support SAP Rise, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and Hybrid SAP landscapes by enabling seamless integration with SAP BTP services. - Implement cloud governance, cost optimization, resource planning, and operational best practices within SAP BTP environments. - Troubleshoot complex connectivity, authentication, authorization, and integration issues across SAP and non-SAP applications. - Support migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise SAP environments to SAP BTP and cloud-native architectures. - Additional Skill Requirements (SAP BTP & Cloud) - Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Administration, Oper
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, execute, and oversee the upgrade and migration of sap basis to s/4hana, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, define project scope, and develop migration strategies.
3. Perform system assessments, conduct risk analysis, and implement best practices to enhance system performance.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sap basis and s/4hana, ensuring system reliability.
5. Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system configurations.
6. Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on sap basis functionality and best practices.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in sap basis administration and s/4hana migration techniques.
2. Strong knowledge of sap system architecture, database management, and performance optimization.
3. Experience in managing sap basis upgrades, patches, and system installations.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to sap basis and s/4hana.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
6. Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor sap basis upgrade projects efficiently.
