About the Role
Bytewave Technology is looking for a Career Advisor US IT Staffing who will work closely with IT professionals to guide, prepare, and position them for opportunities in the US job market. This role focuses on candidate counseling, career planning, profile readiness, and coordination, acting as a support system to the Bench Sales and recruitment teams.
This is a reverse Bench Sales role, where the primary responsibility is candidate success and readiness, not high-volume submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Career Advisory & Guidance
- Counsel IT professionals on US job market trends, career paths, and role suitability
- Guide candidates on resume positioning, skill alignment, and career progression
- Educate candidates on US staffing processes, interview flow, and expectations
Profile Readiness & Quality Control
- Review and validate candidate profiles, resumes, and documentation before marketing
- Ensure resumes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with US client requirements
- Coordinate with Bench Sales recruiters to ensure correct positioning of candidates
Candidate Coordination & Communication
- Act as a single point of contact for assigned candidates
- Share interview updates, feedback, and next steps clearly and professionally
- Prepare candidates for interviews by sharing JD understanding and expectations
Market & Process Support
- Share market feedback, demand skills, and rate trends with internal teams
- Assist recruiters during interview follow-ups and closure stages
- Ensure candidates follow company communication and compliance policies
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain candidate trackers and advisory reports
- Update mentor/manager on candidate status, readiness, and challenges
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of US IT Staffing / Recruitment (training will be provided for freshers)
- Ability to counsel, guide, and manage multiple candidates
- Attention to detail and process compliance
- Willingness to work in US Shift (Night Shift)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
