MusafirBaba is a travel company offering domestic and international tour packages, visa assistance, hotel and flight bookings, car rentals, and customised travel experiences.
We are building a strong digital-first travel brand and are looking for a SEO Content Writer Intern who wants to learn how content actually ranks on Google and contributes to business growth.
This is not just a copy-paste or article-writing internship. You will work closely with our SEO and marketing team to create useful, original, search-focused travel content that helps travellers make better decisions.
Role Overview
As an SEO Content Writer Intern, you will research, write, optimise, and update content for the MusafirBaba website, including travel guides, destination pages, visa-related content, tour package pages, blogs, and supporting SEO content.
You will learn and work on areas such as keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, EEAT, featured snippets, AEO/GEO, content optimisation, and Google Search performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, original and reader-friendly travel content.
- Research travel destinations, itineraries, attractions, hotels, visa requirements, travel tips and related topics.
- Create SEO-friendly blogs, destination guides, landing pages and supporting website content.
- Understand search intent and create content that genuinely answers the user's query.
- Optimise content using primary, secondary and long-tail keywords naturally.
- Write SEO-friendly titles, meta descriptions, headings and FAQs.
- Add relevant internal links between blogs, destination pages, visa pages and tour packages.
- Follow proper heading structure, readability and content formatting.
- Research competitors and identify content gaps and opportunities.
- Update existing articles based on changes in search trends, information and rankings.
- Create content designed for Google Search, Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, AEO and emerging AI search experiences.
- Coordinate with the SEO team to understand keyword priorities and content requirements.
- Ensure factual accuracy, especially for travel, visa and destination-related information.
- Assist in developing content ideas for MusafirBaba's social media channels when required.
What We're Looking For
- Strong command of written English.
- Good grammar, spelling and sentence construction.
- Ability to explain information in simple and easy-to-understand language.
- Genuine interest in travel, tourism, destinations and online content.
- Basic understanding of SEO is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to conduct independent research using reliable sources.
- Willingness to learn keyword research and SEO tools.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Curiosity to understand why a piece of content ranks, not just how to write it.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with keyword research tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of WordPress/CMS or website publishing.
- Experience writing blogs, articles or college publications.
- Basic knowledge of AI writing tools, with the ability to edit and fact-check AI-generated content rather than blindly publishing it.
- Interest in travel blogging, photography, video or social media content.
