About the Role
Razo Builders is looking for an experienced and responsible Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
The candidate will be responsible for site management, project coordination, quality control, manpower management, material planning and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
* Plan, coordinate and monitor project progress from start to completion.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
* Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
* Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
* Plan and manage manpower, materials, machinery and other site requirements.
* Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
* Prepare and maintain project progress reports.
* Coordinate material procurement and ensure materials are available on time.
* Identify and resolve site-related technical and construction issues.
* Monitor project costs and minimize unnecessary wastage and expenses.
* Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the construction site.
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
* Coordinate with clients and provide regular updates on project progress.
* Ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and construction standards.
Requirements
* Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* 2_5 years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
* Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction.
* Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and building practices.
* Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
* Strong leadership and team-management skills.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
