SAP FICO Consultant E Invoicing SAP DRC Vertex
Role Overview
SAP FICO Consultant responsible for driving functional design and implementation of e invoicing solutions using SAP S4HANA SAP DRC and Vertex tax engine ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and seamless integration across finance processes
Key Responsibilities
1 E Invoicing Functional Design
Design and implement endtoend e invoicing processes for
oOutbound invoices SD Billing FI AR
oInbound invoices MM AP Ariba
Define business requirements and functional specifications FS for e invoicing and tax integration
Ensure compliance with countryspecific e invoicing mandates
2 SAP FICO Configuration Integration
Configure FICO components related to e invoicing
oAR Accounts Receivable
oAP Accounts Payable
oGL General Ledger
Integrate finance processes with
oSD Billing
oMM Procurement
Ensure correct accounting postings aligned with electronic invoice validation
3 SAP DRC Compliance Enablement
Define functional requirements for
oE Document framework
oInvoice validation rules
oSubmission workflows and approval processes
Work with technical teams to enable
oE Document cockpit usage
oInvoice status tracking and monitoring
4 Vertex Tax Integration
Collaborate with tax and technical teams for
oTax determination and validation
oIntegration with Vertex tax engine
Perform data mapping between
oSAP invoice data
oTax engine requirements
Ensure accurate tax calculation VATGST before invoice submission
5 Government Portal Compliance Handling
Validate endtoend flow
oInvoice generation validation submission acknowledgement
Ensure compliance with
oGovernment e invoicing portals
oRegulatory reporting norms
6 Cross Functional Coordination
Work closely with
oABAP team enhancements forms
oCPIBTP team integration flows
oDRC team compliance layer
Support multicountry rollout programs
7 Testing Support
Prepare and execute
oFunctional test cases for e invoicing scenarios
Support
oSIT UAT Go Live Hypercare phases
Troubleshoot invoice errors and compliance issues
Required Skills
Functional Skills
Strong experience in
oSAP FICO AR AP GL
Deep understanding of
oInvoice lifecycle billing accounting reporting
Knowledge of
oIndirect tax processes VAT GST
oE invoicing regulations and compliance
Technical Awareness
Understanding of
oSAP DRC E Document framework
oIntegration concepts CPI APIs IDocs
Ability to collaborate with ABAPCPI teams
Good to Have
Experience with
oVertex tax engine tax integration
oMulticountry e invoicing implementations
Exposure to
oS4HANA transformations
Experience
712 years in SAP FICO
At least 12 implementations in e invoicing DRC tax integration
Experience in global rollout programs preferred
Skills
Mandatory Skills : FICO (GL-AR-AP-AA-BA-CEA-CCA-PCA-IO-TR)
