Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance & Administration to oversee end-to-end financial operations, regulatory compliances, and general plant administration for our textile manufacturing unit. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this leadership role is crucial for maintaining strong fiscal health, operational efficiency, and legal compliance. You will work closely with executive leadership and department heads (Production & Sales) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management, Banking & Reporting
- Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and working capital optimization.
- Manage relationship with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, working capital, loans, and foreign trade/letters of credit (LCs).
- Direct internal and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with accounting standards.
- Oversee payroll operations, salary processing, and employee payout structures.
2. Compliance, Audits & Legal Matters
- Ensure strict statutory compliance across all operations (GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESIC, Factory Act, Labour Laws).
- Manage internal, statutory, tax, and secretarial audits, coordinating smoothly with external auditors.
- Handle legal matters, legal documentation, contract reviews, and corporate compliance issues.
3. Plant Administration, HR & Facility Management
- Lead overall plant administration, including security operations, facility management, and IT infrastructure.
- Oversee manpower deployment, shift scheduling, hiring, and management of labour contractors and contractual workforce.
- Coordinate with plant teams to oversee maintenance scheduling, planning, and resource allocation.
- Maintain workplace safety, discipline, and factory administrative policies.
4. Government Liaisoning, Subsidies & Expansion
- Handle government liaisoning, local authority permissions, pollution control board (GPCB) clearances, and regulatory filings.
- Identify, apply for, and track textile-related government subsidies, incentives, and schemes (e.g., Central/State textile policies).
- Play a key financial and administrative role in new investments, capacity expansions, and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
5. Strategic Operations & Leadership
- Partner with Directors and Heads of Production and Sales to align manufacturing schedules, raw material procurement, and sales realization.
- Provide strategic insights to optimize operational costs and streamline factory workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent master’s degree.
- Experience: 8–12+ years of relevant experience in Finance and General Administration, ideally within a manufacturing environment (Textiles/Textile Processing background preferred).
Skills:
- Strong expertise in factory accounting, cost management, and statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience managing plant administration, labour contractors, and factory operations.
- Proven track record in banking, government liaisoning, and subsidy claims.
- Proficient in Tally/ERP software and MS Office tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
