We are looking for an experienced and passionate Soft Skill Trainer to join our team for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) project. In this role, you will be responsible for training rural youth in essential soft skills, communication, life skills, workplace etiquette, and interview preparation to enhance their employability and support their integration into the formal workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Conduct interactive classroom sessions based on the prescribed DDU-GKY soft skills and life skills curriculum.
- Communication Training: Train candidates in spoken English, conversational skills, non-verbal communication, body language, and active listening.
- Employability Enhancement: Prepare students for job interviews through mock interviews, resume writing workshops, group discussions, and confidence-building exercises.
- Workplace Readiness: Instruct trainees on professional workplace etiquette, corporate culture, time management, teamwork, stress management, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate Assessment & Tracking: Conduct regular assessments, track candidate progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain performance logs as per DDU-GKY guidelines.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain daily attendance records, lesson plans, batch tracking reports, and session documentation required for project audits.
- Mentorship & Counseling: Provide ongoing guidance and motivation to candidates to reduce dropouts and build long-term career aspirations.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Human Resources, English, Social Work, Communications, or Psychology preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in soft skills training, life skills facilitation, or corporate training. Prior experience working on government skill development projects (e.g., DDU-GKY, PMKVY, NULM) is strongly preferred.
- Certifications: TOT (Training of Trainers) certification from SSC (Sector Skill Council) or NCVT is a significant advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of English along with fluency in the local regional language to effectively communicate with rural youth.

- Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and classroom management abilities.
- High empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity to mentor candidates from marginalized or rural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with basic office applications (MS Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to handle documentation and audit requirements under government-sponsored schemes.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
