Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling company products or services by combining technical knowledge with sales skills. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and customers.
- Visit clients and understand their technical requirements.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Explain product features, specifications, and benefits to customers.
- Coordinate with production, design, and purchase departments.
- Follow up on inquiries, orders, and payments.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Handle customer complaints and provide solutions.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain customer records.
- Support installation, trials, or demonstrations if required.
