Should have good knowledge of Plumbing, Firefighting system design concepts for residential & commercial buildings.
Should have thorough understanding of high side & low side systems.
Can handle multiple projects single handed at one time.
Knowledge in Water demand calculation, STP capacity, Drainage system designing, Pipe routing, Invert levels, External storm water disposal, irrigation system, etc.
Pump selection, Pipe sizing, chamber sizing, coordination with other services and Civil entities, etc.
Good hand in AutoCAD. Should be able to develop drawing by his/her own.
Good knowledge in local & national codes/standards.
Equipment selection, coordination with other departments
Preparation of BOQ & BOM
Knowledge in costing
