About the Role
Sky Route is looking for an experienced and energetic DJ / Entertainment Manager to lead the music and entertainment experience at our new rooftop restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating the right atmosphere through music, managing live entertainment, and helping establish Sky Route as one of the top rooftop destinations on Dwarka Expressway.
This role goes beyond DJing and requires someone who can build relationships with live bands, singers, and performers, curate entertainment calendars, and deliver memorable guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesDJ & Music Management
- Perform live DJ sets during evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Curate music playlists suitable for dining, lounge, and nightlife environments.
- Read the crowd and adjust music to maintain the right energy throughout the evening.
- Ensure smooth transitions between dining ambience and high-energy entertainment periods.
- Manage and maintain all DJ and sound equipment.
Live Entertainment Management
- Source and maintain a network of live bands, singers, musicians, and performers.
- Coordinate and manage live music performances, acoustic sessions, and special entertainment events.
- Collaborate effectively with live bands and artists to ensure smooth and professional performances.
- Conduct sound checks and coordinate technical requirements with performers.
- Plan entertainment schedules and recommend new acts to management.
- Organize themed nights, live music events, and special performances to drive guest engagement.
Guest Experience
- Create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
- Support guest celebrations, private events, and corporate gatherings.
- Work closely with restaurant management to ensure entertainment aligns with the Sky Route brand.
Marketing & Events
- Assist with planning and promoting entertainment events.
- Participate in social media content creation related to live music and entertainment.
- Recommend innovative event concepts that increase footfall and customer retention.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience as a DJ in restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs, or hospitality venues.
- Strong knowledge of Bollywood, Commercial, Punjabi, House, EDM, Retro, and Lounge music.
- Experience working with live bands and performers.
- Existing network of artists, bands, singers, and entertainers in Delhi NCR is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of sound systems, DJ software, and entertainment operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Preferred Candidate
We are looking for someone who can not only perform as a DJ but also build and manage a complete entertainment program for Sky Route. The ideal candidate should be capable of bringing quality live bands and performers, creating exciting event nights, and helping make Sky Route a leading rooftop dining and nightlife destination in Gurugram.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
