The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for generating business opportunities for the company’s plaster and construction material products by visiting construction sites, meeting contractors, builders, architects, dealers, and prospective clients. The role involves field sales, client relationship management, technical product explanation, on-site product trials, and coordination between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, architects, and dealers to generate new business opportunities.
* Identify and develop prospective clients for plaster and construction material products.
* Promote company products by explaining technical features, benefits, and application methods.
* Conduct on-site product demonstrations, application support, and facilitate product trials at project sites.
* Coordinate and supervise site trials to ensure proper product usage and successful application results.
* Follow up on inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
* Coordinate with dispatch, production, and technical teams for timely material delivery and project support.
* Monitor ongoing projects and ensure customer satisfaction during product application.
* Collect market information regarding competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by management.
* Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, and customer feedback updates.
* Resolve customer issues and coordinate technical support when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
* 1–5 years of experience in construction material sales, plaster, gypsum, cement products, or building materials preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Basic technical understanding of construction and plaster application processes.
* Ability to conduct field demonstrations and site product trials.
* Ability to travel regularly for field visits and client meetings.
* Self-motivated with strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of Mumbai city, construction markets, and project locations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience dealing with builders, contractors, applicators, and architects.
* Familiarity with gypsum plaster, wall putty, dry mix mortar, or finishing products.
* Strong local market network in the construction industry.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
