Role Description: The Software Engineer Intern role at Syneur Technologies is an on-site internship based in Ahmedabad. Interns collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain software components for AI-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, debugging issues, implementing back-end services and APIs, and contributing to system design discussions under the guidance of senior engineers. The role also involves documenting technical work, participating in code reviews, and learning best practices in software development and deployment. Interns are expected to show initiative, work effectively in a team, and continuously expand their technical skills.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming using at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts such as RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in designing clean, maintainable code.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate in a team environment, and communicate clearly in English.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, cloud platforms, or data engineering is a plus but not required.
