We are seeking an experienced GPP Consultant with strong expertise in payment transformation programs and hands-on experience with FIS Global Payments Platform (GPP) 4.6/5.0. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payment processing, business configuration, system implementation, and stakeholder collaboration within the banking and financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in end-to-end payment transformation initiatives, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand and document payment processing requirements.
Configure and customize GPP solutions to support business and regulatory requirements.
Perform business configuration, parameter setup, and implementation activities within GPP 4.6/5.0.
Develop and maintain reports, scripts, and interfaces related to payment processing workflows.
Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis.
Support system integration, UAT, deployment, and post-production activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of payment modernization projects.
Prepare functional and technical documentation, process flows, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with banking standards, payment regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working with FIS Global Payments Platform (GPP) 4.6/5.0.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems and banking operations.
Experience in end-to-end implementation and transformation projects within the payments domain.
Hands-on experience with:
Oracle 11g
PL/SQL
UNIX/Linux
GPP Reporting and Scripting
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of payment message formats and payment processing workflows.
Experience in system configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with payment schemes such as ACH, Wire, SWIFT, SEPA, RTP, or ISO 20022.
Exposure to banking transformation and modernization initiatives.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of application support and release management processes.
