A Quality Manager for innerwear garments oversees quality assurance and control systems from raw materials to finished undergarments, ensuring high standards for stretch, fit, and comfort.
- Raw Material Inspection: Check elastic stretch, recovery, fabric GSM, shrinkage, and color fastness specific to knitted or spandex-blended innerwear fabrics.
- Process Control: Monitor cutting, delicate sewing (flatlock/elastic attachment), and molding processes to prevent puckering or sizing discrepancies.
- Standards & Compliance: Implement Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standards and maintain buyer specifications for intimate apparel.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise QA/QC inspectors on the production floor and lead root-cause analysis for any defects.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years in innerwear or knitted garment manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in fabric composition, elastics, tension regulation, and stitch types.
- Core Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving methodologies (RCA/CAPA), and data reporting.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
