Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering
- Proficient in Domestic & International Sourcing, Working knowledge of Lean Management e.g. JIT. ERP experience, Data Management
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, Strong Negotiation skills & solid business judgment
Experience: 10 years of experience within procurement, operations, or relevant experience.
CTC Range: 9 to 10 lacs
Job Profile requirements:
- Planning and managing a company’s overall sourcing Strategy in the Metals, Mining, and Ferroalloys Industries.
- Researching to understand a company’s operational needs and requirements
- Building relationships with vendors and key suppliers, reviewing contracts, developing an annual budget based on sourcing needs
- Executing analyses and making suggestions for improvement in sourcing strategy
- Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions and reducing costs, ensuring that purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Building and leveraging internal business partner relationships to create value-focused strategies that align with goals
- Proactively, seeking business optimization and cost savings or new capability and developing data-driven business cases to support their initiatives
- Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials to ensure sufficient stock for production while avoiding overstocking.
- Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders (production teams, engineers) and external suppliers
