Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from customer enquiry to mass production.Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.Conduct product feasibility studies and manufacturability analysis.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Tool Room, Purchase, and Vendor teams.
- Manage development of plastic injection molded and sheet metal fabricated components.
- Plan and monitor prototype development, trial runs, validation, and product approvals.Coordinate tooling, molds, dies, fixtures, and gauges development activities.
- Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, and other project documentation.Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notes (ECN).Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support during product development.Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and automotive industry regulations.
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related field.
Experience : 5–8 years of experience in New Product Development within the Automotive Components Manufacturing Industry.
Hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Molding and Sheet Metal Fabrication processes.Experience in product development, tooling, and customer project management.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
