Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to manage and oversee microbial biosolutions production operations. The role involves planning production activities, supervising manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and safety standards, optimizing resources, and leading the production team to achieve operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day microbial production activities.
- Supervise production processes including fermentation, culture handling, downstream processing, and formulation, as applicable.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to approved SOPs and batch procedures.
- Manage production manpower, equipment, raw materials, and utilities effectively.
- Coordinate with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain production records, batch documentation, and process reports accurately.
- Identify process deviations, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Train, guide, and evaluate production team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.

Qualification & Experience
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in microbial production, fermentation, biotechnology, or biosolutions manufacturing.
- Experience in handling production teams and industrial-scale processes will be preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
