Job Summary
The Hospital Operations Trainer is responsible for training and developing all non-clinical hospital teams to ensure smooth, standardized, and efficient hospital operations. The role focuses on implementing SOPs, improving service quality, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring every department follows standardized processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Training
- Conduct induction and onboarding training for all non-clinical employees.
- Train staff on hospital SOPs, workflows, and operational standards.
- Standardize processes across all departments.
- Conduct refresher and skill enhancement programs regularly.

SOP Implementation
- Ensure SOPs are understood and followed consistently.
- Conduct floor audits to identify process gaps.
- Retrain teams wherever deviations are observed.
- Assist in creating and updating SOPs.
Service Excellence
- Train staff in:
- Patient communication
- Customer service
- Professional behaviour
- Complaint handling
- Telephone etiquette
- Grooming and workplace discipline
Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Reduce delays in patient registration, admission, billing, discharge, and overall patient journey.
- Improve coordination between departments.
Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct written and practical assessments after training.
- Maintain training attendance and competency records.
- Prepare monthly training reports and compliance dashboards.
- Track completion of mandatory training modules.
Continuous Improvement
- Observe staff on the floor and provide real-time coaching.
- Conduct surprise audits.
- Share best practices across departments.
- Support expansion by training newly hired teams.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MHA/MBA (Hospital Administration) preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years in hospital operations, quality, training, or hospital administration.
- Experience in multispecialty or oncology hospitals preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of hospital operations.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication in Hindi and English.
- Ability to create SOPs, training manuals, and checklists.
- Excellent observation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
