Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator with over 5 years of experience in the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate will independently manage design projects, coordinate closely with CAD teams and external vendors, and ensure smooth execution from concept to production. Strong follow-up skills, timeline management, and cross-functional communication are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end product development for jewelry collections, from initial concept to design, sampling, and production.
- Coordinate with design and CAD teams to ensure accurate translation of design briefs into technical drawings and models.
- Liaise with vendors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure timely sampling and production.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones and delivery deadlines are met.
- Maintain detailed tracking of active projects, design changes, samples, and approvals.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to support collection launches.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design feasibility, sampling delays, or vendor capacity.
- Maintain organized records of product specifications, revisions, and costing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within the jewelry industry.
- Strong understanding of jewelry design, CAD processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict timelines.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills with internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
