Jevika & Joy’s World (JJW) is a kids-focused entertainment brand creating animated stories, characters, and engaging digital content. We are building an AI-first content production pipeline and are looking for a creative and detail-oriented AI Screenplay & Visual Storytelling Intern to help transform stories and scripts into visually engaging animated sequences.
About the Role
You will work closely with the creative and production team to break down screenplays into scenes and shots, plan visual sequences, and use AI tools to bring stories to life.
This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, animation, cinematography, and AI visual generation and enjoys experimenting with new creative tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down screenplays into scenes, sequences, and individual shots.
- Understand scripts and translate written narratives into visual sequences.
- Create shot divisions based on the story, emotions, action, and pacing.
- Plan appropriate camera angles, camera movements, framing, and compositions.
- Maintain shot-to-shot continuity in characters, locations, actions, and visual style.
- Create visual references and prompts for AI image and video generation.
- Work with AI visual/video generation tools to develop animated scenes.
- Collaborate with the creative team to improve storytelling and visual execution.
- Ensure generated visuals remain consistent with established character designs and environments.
- Identify visual gaps, continuity issues, and storytelling problems before production.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools and techniques for animation and video production.
Requirements
- Basic to good knowledge of screenplay writing and scene breakdown.
- Understanding of shot division, camera angles, framing, and shot continuity.
- Familiarity with AI image and video generation tools.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and animation.
- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to visualize how a written scene should look on screen.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new AI tools.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced content production environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience or familiarity with tools such as:
- ChatGPT / Gemini for creative development and prompting
- Kling AI
- Google Veo
- Seedance
- Hedra
- Other AI image/video generation platforms
Knowledge of storyboarding, animation, cinematography, video editing, or filmmaking will be an added advantage.
