We are looking for an experienced and visionary Content Head to lead our content strategy, establish FOY as a thought leader, and drive impactful storytelling across all digital and offline channels.
Role Overview
The Content Head will be responsible for building and executing FOY's end-to-end content strategy across marketing, brand, product, employer branding, sales enablement, and customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional storytelling abilities, strong editorial judgment, and the capability to lead a high-performing content team.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of content marketing, SEO, social media, AI-assisted content creation, and performance analytics while ensuring consistent brand messaging across every touchpoint.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with FOY's business objectives.
- Define the brand voice, messaging framework, and editorial guidelines.
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly content roadmaps.
- Identify content opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor the content team while fostering creativity and innovation.
Content Creation & Editorial Excellence
- Oversee the ideation, creation and execution of high-quality content across platforms: (Creative visuals + Content)
- Blogs
- Instagram
- Youtube
- Reddit
- Website content
- Linkedin
- Product collateral
- Sales presentations
- Email campaigns
- Video scripts
- Social media content
- PR content
- Ensure all content maintains exceptional quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Establish editorial calendars and publishing workflows.
SEO, AEO, GEO & Organic Growth
- Drive SEO-focused content initiatives to improve organic visibility.
- Develop and execute AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies to improve visibility across AI assistants and answer engines.
- Implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices to increase discoverability on generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and content gap analysis.
- Collaborate with the SEO and Digital Marketing teams to improve search rankings.
- Optimize existing content for performance across both traditional and AI-powered search experiences.
Thought Leadership
- Develop founder branding and executive thought leadership content.
- Produce research-driven reports and industry insights.
Campaign & Marketing Support
- Collaborate with Marketing & Brand teams.
- Develop content for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Support product launches and GTM initiatives.
- Create customer success stories and testimonials.
Social Media & Community Content
- Guide platform-specific content strategies.
- Develop engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram and emerging channels.
- Monitor trends and capitalize on real-time content opportunities.
AI & Content Innovation
- Leverage AI tools to improve content production efficiency.
- Implement scalable content workflows.
- Explore innovative content formats and emerging technologies.
Analytics & Performance
- Measure content effectiveness using relevant KPIs.
- Analyze traffic, engagement, conversions, and lead generation.
- Continuously optimize content based on performance insights.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Mass Media, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- 5 + years of experience in content marketing, editorial leadership, or brand communications.
- Prior experience managing content teams.
- Experience in Ecommerce or Beauty Industry is preferred
- CTC: 10 LPA to 15 LPA
Technical Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- Experience with AI content tools.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Understanding of social media platforms and content marketing.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Basic understanding of design principles and visual storytelling.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
