Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and business performance reporting for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights, monitor business performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance.
Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational costs.
Support financial planning and strategic business decisions.
Cost Analysis & Profitability
Analyze manufacturing costs, product costing, and cost optimization opportunities.
Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
Identify cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability.
Support pricing and investment decisions through financial analysis.
Business Performance Reporting
Develop and maintain MIS reports, financial dashboards, and KPIs.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports.
Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Budgeting & Financial Control
Assist in budget preparation and departmental cost monitoring.
Track capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX).
Ensure financial discipline and adherence to approved budgets.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
Develop reports using Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
Support business decisions by providing timely financial analysis and recommendations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for data collection and reporting.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Support internal controls and financial compliance.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting tools.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and MIS reporting.
Knowledge of manufacturing finance and business processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Industry
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Preferred)
Candidates from Manufacturing, FMCG, Chemicals, or Process Industries may also be considered.
Compensation
