Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents through the course-selection and admission process. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, generating enquiries, following up with leads, and converting prospective enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, colleges, universities, eligibility, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle incoming admission enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Generate and manage leads through various channels.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
- Explain course structure, fees, scholarships, eligibility criteria, placements, and admission timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions in CRM/Excel.
- Assist students throughout the application and admission process.
- Coordinate with colleges/universities and internal teams for admission-related requirements.
- Participate in education fairs, school/college seminars, counselling sessions, and promotional events.
- Achieve monthly enquiry conversion and admission targets.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, institutions, and education partners.
- Stay updated on new courses, admission policies, entrance examinations, scholarships, and education trends.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; candidates with backgrounds in Education, Management, Marketing, Psychology or related fields will be preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education counselling, student counselling, sales, or business development preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.

Compensation: Competitive salary + performance incentives, based on experience and industry standards.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
