Why this role exists
AssureAI helps practising Chartered Accountants automate audit and compliance work. We’re looking for an accounting-savvy Customer Support Specialist to support our customers, conduct training sessions, and make customers lifelong users of AssureAI.
Key Responsibilities
- Become a functional expert in AssureAI by way of training sessions/self-learningand functional testing for modules assigned to you.
- Develop customer onboarding best practices, review their effectiveness and continuously improve
- Own overall relationship with assigned customers, which includes managing onboarding, implementation, training, increasing adoption, timely support, ensuring retention and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain existing customer success metrics and data, and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
- Contribute towards product improvement by ensuring that customer feedback is communicated to the development team
- Ensure the successful implementation of the product enhancement by providing the requirements clarifications and performing user acceptance testing
- Take up other tasks/responsibilities that are assigned to you from time to time and deliver as per the agreed deadlines
Must-Have Profile
- Education / Experience
- B.Com / M.Com or similar; 5 years of experience in audit or accounting at a CA firm (articleship or audit assistant).
- Hands-on knowledge of audit cycles, GST / TDS basics and financial-statement preparation.
- Strong English & Hindi verbal skills; knowledge of any South Indian language is an added advantage; clear & customer friendly communication is mandatory
- Attributes
- Empathy for busy CA firms; patience to train non-tech users.
- Data-driven mindset—comfortable reading simple Mixpanel or Excel reports.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, fast-moving SaaS team
- Exclusions
- Candidates currently pursuing CA exams are not eligible (we cannot offer exam leave).
- Only applicants ready to complete and submit the mandatory assignment within one week of applying should proceed.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in customer success, support or implementation for an accounting/tax software product.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools, CRM systems or basic SQL/JQL.
Compensation
- Indicative range ₹ 2.5 – 4 L CTC per annum
- Final package commensurate with your experience and skill set, combining a fixed salary with transparent performance incentives linked to retention and NPS.
