Job Description – AutoCAD Designer (Electrical) Position: AutoCAD Designer – Electrical Location: Andheri West (Mumbai) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with an Electrical Engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings, designing LT/Control Panels, conducting site inspections, troubleshooting electrical systems, and supporting project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards
. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
Design LT Panels, Control Panels, and Electrical Distribution Panels.
Develop electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLD), and panel GA drawings.
Design and review RLC (Resistor, Inductor, Capacitor) circuit systems and other electrical control systems.
Conduct site inspections to verify installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
Perform troubleshooting of electrical systems, control panels, and field-related issues. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and site teams during project execution.
Prepare and update as-built drawings after project completion.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
Support testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities whenever required.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and project records.
Required Qualifications
Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in Electrical AutoCAD Design and Panel Design. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D). Experience in LT Panel, Control Panel, PCC, MCC, and Distribution Panel Design.
Good understanding of electrical circuits, RLC systems, wiring standards, and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of electrical components, cable sizing, protection devices, and power distribution systems. Ability to conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues independently.
