Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Installation Project Coordinator or Jr Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, this person takes full ownership of a project the moment fabricated panels and components arrive on the US construction site — managing everything from site readiness through to final handover and punch list closure. This is a remotely coordinated role based in India, requiring strong communication skills, US construction knowledge, and the ability to manage an on-site installation superintendent, subcontractors, and direct labor crews across multiple concurrent projects. Starting with GFRC and FRP facade systems, this role will expand to cover all installation projects as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Site Ownership & Execution
- Take full ownership of the project from the moment fabricated panels and materials arrive on the US construction site — this is your handover point and your project from that moment forward
- Manage the complete on-site installation process through to final handover, including installation superintendent direction, subcontractor coordination, and direct labor crew oversight
- Monitor daily site progress against the installation schedule, identifying issues proactively and resolving them before they impact the critical path
- Ensure site readiness before material arrival — access clearance, equipment mobilization, scaffold setup, embed verification, and safety induction all confirmed in advance
- Track material receipt, unloading, stacking, and storage on site to ensure panels are handled correctly and available when needed
- Coordinate with job site superintendents on quality control gates, budgets, timelines.
Ø GC & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the General Contractor's Project Manager — maintaining a professional, proactive, and solution-oriented relationship always
- Attend (remotely) and lead site coordination meetings with the GC, resolving open issues, RFIs, and site conflicts in a timely manner
- Produce and distribute accurate, on-time progress reports to the GC PM and internal leadership — daily updates where required, weekly summary reports as standard
- Manage all site-level documentation including daily reports, installation logs, change order records, RFI responses, and inspection records
- Escalate commercial, technical, or schedule issues to the Project Manager with a clear summary and recommended course of action
Ø Schedule & Resource Management
- Work closely with the Project Scheduler to maintain an accurate installation schedule — providing site-level inputs on progress, constraints, and look-ahead requirements
- Manage on-site resource allocation — ensuring the right crew size, equipment, and subcontractor availability is in place at every phase of the installation
- Identify and flag resource conflicts, site delays, or scope changes to the Project Manager and Project Executive with sufficient lead time for corrective action
- Coordinate logistics with the India team on shipping schedules, panel sequencing, and site delivery windows to ensure installation continuity
Ø Quality, Snag & Handover
- Oversee on-site quality checks — alignment verification, grouting, joint treatment, and floor-by-floor inspections against approved shop drawings and specifications
- Manage the water leakage test, final QA inspection, and consultant walkthrough process through to sign-off
- Own the snag identification and rectification process — ensuring all punch list items are closed out before practical completion is declared
- Compile and submit as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, and the final completion certificate at project close
- Lead lessons learned at project close-out, feeding insights back to the India engineering and scheduling teams to improve future projects
