Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Material Follow-Up Executive to coordinate with suppliers, purchase materials, track deliveries, and ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing and assembly activities. The candidate should be willing to travel locally for material procurement and vendor follow-up.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Follow up with suppliers for material availability and delivery schedules.
- Purchase materials from vendors as per company requirements.
- Coordinate with stores, production, and purchase departments.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
- Visit vendor locations for material collection and verification when required.
- Maintain purchase records, delivery schedules, and material tracking reports.
- Compare quotations and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase requests.
- Follow up on pending orders and expedite urgent requirements.
- Arrange transportation and logistics for material movement.
- Ensure quality and quantity verification of received materials.
Required Skills:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of purchase and material management processes.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel for material procurement and follow-up.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech / Any Degree
- Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
