About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a strong technical background and proven experience managing complex data, analytics, and engineering programs. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery, working closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams to ensure timely execution, effective risk management, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across 2–3 Scrum teams, ensuring roadmap commitments are delivered on time and with measurable business value.
- Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to define priorities, scope, technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans.
- Manage program timelines, risks, dependencies, resources, and cross-team deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Track execution, identify blockers early, and drive timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, and engineering delivery practices, including required documentation and artifacts.
- Coordinate with technical teams on architecture, solution options, technical trade-offs, and technical debt.
- Monitor production issues, SLA performance, and defect resolution to support operational excellence.
- Provide clear program status, risks, and progress updates to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, engineering effectiveness, and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of overall experience, including 3–5 years in technical program/project management, with proven experience across software engineering, data engineering, data analytics, business intelligence (BI), and related technology domains.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, with hands-on knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Working knowledge of data and cloud technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, AWS, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Tableau, and Ab Initio or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, technical delivery, program planning, and dependency management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively.
Preferred
- Experience managing large-scale data engineering, analytics, or cloud transformation programs.
- Knowledge of modern data architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
- Agile/Scrum, PMP, or relevant program management certification is a plus.
