The Accountant is responsible for maintaining company accounts, project-wise expenses, client billing, vendor payments, receivables, bank records, GST/TDS coordination, salary processing, and cash-flow reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounts and financial records.
- Prepare client invoices and track receivables.
- Record vendor bills and coordinate payments.
- Maintain project-wise expense records.
- Track material purchase bills and payment status.
- Handle bank entries, cash book, and reconciliations.
- Prepare salary and labour payment records.
- Coordinate GST, TDS, and statutory filings with consultant/CA.
- Maintain petty cash and office expense records.
- Prepare weekly cash-flow and outstanding reports.
- Support purchase team with vendor payment coordination.
- Maintain proper filing of bills, receipts, invoices, and vouchers.
- Provide financial reports to the Managing Partner.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting basics.
- Experience with Tally / accounting software.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to maintain project-wise cost records.
- Honest, organised, and detail-oriented.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com / accounting qualification preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts.
- Construction or real estate accounting experience preferred.
Key Performance Indicators
- Client invoices prepared on time.
- Vendor bills recorded accurately.
- Receivables followed up regularly.
- Project-wise expenses updated properly.
- GST/TDS data prepared on time.
- Cash-flow report submitted weekly.
- Accounts records maintained cleanly.
Main Objective
To keep APAK BUILDERS’ accounts accurate, organised, and project-wise controlled so management can clearly understand cash flow, expenses, receivables, payables, and project profitability.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
