We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a high-impact client engagement focused on modernizing enterprise data architecture. This role involves transforming legacy SQL Server Views and Stored Procedures into a scalable Snowflake + dbt architecture while collaborating with a team of Data Engineers to deliver an accelerated project timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own enterprise data architecture across multiple business workstreams.
- Design scalable data models and establish architectural standards.
- Build and review dbt transformation layers (staging, intermediate, and marts).
- Architect enterprise solutions using Snowflake and SQL Server.
- Partner with Data Engineers to resolve design challenges and ensure architectural consistency.
- Identify technical risks early and recommend scalable solutions.
- Support the delivery of payroll, finance, inventory, and operational reporting data models.
Required Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake and SQL Server.
- Proven experience with dbt (modeling, testing, deployment patterns).
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data warehouses and modern ELT architectures.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience working across multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience modernizing legacy SQL Server environments.
- Background in HR, Inventory, Finance, or Operational data domains.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with global teams.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven projects.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
