About the Role
Chheda Specialties Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and analytical Category Executive to support the management and growth of assigned product categories. The role will involve category planning, sales and inventory analysis, stock availability, purchase order fulfilment, data tracking, and coordination with the Factory, Warehouses, Sales, Purchase, and other internal teams.
The candidate will be required to work closely with physical stock locations and ensure that system data is aligned with actual stock and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of category strategies in line with business objectives
- Monitor category-wise sales, inventory, product availability, and performance
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for category growth
- Track SKU-wise performance and identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and high-potential products
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Factory, Finance, and other teams
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock planning to ensure product availability
- Support purchase order fulfilment and coordinate with relevant teams for timely dispatches
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and category performance reports
- Maintain accurate product, SKU, stock, and category-related data
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance category performance
- Provide regular updates and analysis to Management
- Perform other category management, analytical, coordination, and administrative duties as assigned by Management
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
- Stock Accuracy: Ensure regular tracking of current stock at all Warehouses and the Factory and maintain accuracy between system stock vs. actual physical stock.
- Stock Availability: Ensure adequate stock availability at all locations from where billing/dispatch of products is carried out, in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Purchase Order Fulfilment: Ensure that purchase orders are supplied with a 100% fill rate, with proper follow-up on shortages, pending quantities, and delays.
- Daily Sweets PO Tracker: Maintain a daily tracker specifically for Sweets, covering PO Received vs. PO Dispatched, and ensure timely reporting of pending quantities.
- Physical Verification & Data Accuracy: Regularly visit the Factory and Warehouses to physically verify stock and operational data and ensure that accurate information is captured and maintained in the relevant trackers/system.
- Data & MIS Accuracy: Ensure that all stock, order, dispatch, and category-related data is updated accurately and on time for Management reporting.
- Issue Identification & Resolution: Identify stock mismatches, availability issues, pending POs, and dispatch gaps and coordinate with the relevant teams for timely resolution.
Candidate Profile:
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field will be preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Sales Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, FMCG, or a similar role
- Experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / Consumer Products will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting
- Strong understanding of inventory, stock reconciliation, purchase orders, dispatches, and product performance
- Willingness to physically visit Factory and Warehouse locations for stock verification and data collection
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify discrepancies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
