We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented F&B Server to join the team at Hedge Cafe and Club. While taking orders and running food are part of the daily routine, your absolute most important tool in this role is your smile. As a server, you aren't just an order-taker—you are a culinary tour guide and a champion of good vibes. Key Responsibilities
- Service with a Smile: Greet guests warmly at their tables, introduce yourself, and instantly establish a friendly, hospitable rapport that puts them at ease.
- Menu Mastery: Be our guests' ultimate guide to the menu. Confidently make recommendations and describe our signature items—from our classic Shakshuka and Nashville-style chicken to our unique pandan and kaya specialties.
- Order Management: Accurately take guest orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system, paying careful attention to dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Smooth Flow: Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensure beautiful presentation, and check back with tables (always with a smile) to make sure every detail is perfect.
- Table Maintenance: Keep the dining room looking sharp by pre-bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and resetting quickly for the next guests.
- Teamwork: Work seamlessly with the kitchen, hosts, and management to ensure the entire cafe runs like clockwork.
The Ideal Candidate (Qualifications)Note on Experience: We can teach you our POS system, and we can teach you the ingredients in our lemon curd tarts. We cannot teach a warm, welcoming personality. If you have the right attitude and a great smile, we will handle the rest!
