Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, target-driven Sales Professional specializing exclusively in Industrial Safety Equipment and PPE.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in industrial B2B sales and a strong understanding of factory safety compliance and occupational health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial Client Acquisition: Map and target potential B2B clients.
- Consultative Technical Selling: Partner with Plant Heads, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Managers, and Purchase Heads to understand factory hazards and recommend compliant safety solutions.
- Product Portfolio Management: Pitch a diverse range of safety products, including Industrial PPE (specialized gloves, high-temp clothing, safety shoes), Fall Protection, Gas Detection, Eye/Face Protection, and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) systems.
- On-Site Plant Visits & Demos: Conduct regular factory/plant visits to carry out product demonstrations, emphasizing product durability, certifications, and worker safety.
- Commercial Negotiations: Prepare detailed technical-commercial quotations, handle price negotiations, manage credit terms, and ensure timely payment collections.
- Retention & Up-selling: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing corporate and industrial accounts to secure annual rate contracts (ARCs).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hardcore experience in Industrial Safety Equipment, Corporate PPE Sales, or Factory Supply Sales.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with factory safety norms, OHSAS/ISO guidelines, and product standards (e.g., IS, CE, EN, ANSI).
- Skills: Excellent communication, B2B negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to confidently interface with corporate procurement teams and technical EHS heads.
- Mobility: Must own a vehicle (two-wheeler) with a valid driving license for frequent factory and client site visits.
Salary & Benefits
- Fixed Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month (Commensurate with relevant & specific construction Safety Equipment Industry experience and existing client network)
