Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints and work orders promptly.
- Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting works as assigned.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and hotel policies.
- Monitor utility consumption and report abnormalities.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist in emergency situations such as power failures, water leakages, and equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinate with other departments to complete maintenance requests efficiently.
- Maintain records of maintenance work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair works.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
