About the Role
Jewel Child Development Centre is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children experiencing speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing disorders, helping them develop effective communication skills and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based therapy.
You will collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, child-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions tailored to each child's communication needs.
- Assess and treat speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop communication skills, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and oral motor abilities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify intervention plans based on clinical outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home-based therapy activities and provide regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and optimal developmental outcomes.
- Participate in case discussions, training programs, and continuous professional development activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) is mandatory.
- Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge, a passion for pediatric speech therapy, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with pediatric clinical experience will have an added advantage.
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is preferred.
