You will be responsible for identifying market shifts, analyzing competitor performance, and translating global and local trends into commercially successful product collections. The ideal candidate has a "pulse" on the fashion industry and a data-driven approach to product development.
Key Responsibilities
Trend Intelligence & Market Analysis
Competitor Monitoring: Continuously track activity on Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, and Ajio to identify market leaders, emerging best-sellers, and shifting price strategies.
Global Benchmarking: Keep a close watch on international fashion leaders such as Zara, H&M, Aldo, and Steve Madden to anticipate upcoming macro-trends.
Social Listening: Monitor Instagram and other social platforms to identify influencer-led trends and viral aesthetics.
Data Synthesis: Analyze search demand, color trends, and customer reviews to validate intuition with hard data.
Product Strategy & Planning
Seasonal Roadmap: Build comprehensive seasonal collections that balance high-fashion trends with core commercial needs.
Monthly Launch Plans: Develop and execute high-frequency monthly launch calendars to maintain brand relevance and drive traffic.
Design Collaboration: Act as the bridge between market data and the design team; provide clear briefs to convert trends into profitable product samples.
Performance Management & Optimization
Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor sell-through rates and identify potential repeat orders for top-performing styles.
SKU Management: Regularly evaluate product performance to recommend data-backed SKU additions and deletions, ensuring a lean and profitable inventory.
